Facebook Tips Removing Facebook Account from Android device properly

In this post, we shall see how to remove a Facebook account from an Android device properly. One way is to simply uninstall the Facebook app from the Android device. But let's suppose we do not want to uninstall the Facebook app, we just want the Facebook account removed from the Android device, then we can do the following to remove the account properly. 


The standard way is to remove the Facebook account from the Android Account settings. While we may think that should remove the Facebook account, it does not. Every after removing the Facebook account from the Android account setting, the same account stays when we launch Facebook app right after because the Facebook app's account information are stored on the device. Now, if suppose, you are going to give away or sell your Android phone to someone else, the Facebook account data still remains on the device. So we need to clear the Facebook app's data / cache too. It is recommended that one does a complete factory reset of the Android device if possible to clear any personal information left on the Android device.
